READ TO THE END:
We are proud to present this fully restored 1962 Volkswagen T1 Split Window Kombi, affectionately nicknamed “Anastácia.” This exceptional vehicle stands out with its new two-tone paintwork in Salmon and Nardo Grey, a one-of-a-kind configuration in the world, and a truly artistic touch: approximately 1,400 genuine Austrian Swarovski crystals, each hand-applied one by one.
This T1 is the perfect combination of authenticity, elegance, and craftsmanship — featuring a Ragtop sunroof, a 1500cc single carburetor engine in its original specification, and 15” German wheels painted in Salmon with grey hubcaps and hand-painted black VW logos. Brand new whitewall tires and rare pressed-metal bumpers complete its timeless vintage look.
The interior has been completely redone with luxury brown upholstery, integrated front seats, bouclé carpets, and chrome trim with brown accents. Other highlights include new electrical wiring, original headlights, original “bullet” turn signals with new lenses, small taillights, Horasa speedometer with acrylic pointer, front Safari windows with chrome frames, and front and rear silver roof racks with a side ladder.
Kombis from the early 1960s are extremely rare, and finding one restored to this level, with such unique detailing, is very rare today.
At the end of the photo gallery, you’ll find complete documentation and images of the entire restoration and customization process, showcasing the meticulous work and attention to detail behind this project.
