Our Presence in Brazil
More than 300,000T1 Splits were manufactured in Brazil! With all the models included, more than 1,6 million kombis came from Brazilian factories.
Besides its French-Candian-German-Brazilian team, Combi Kombi has a network of scouts that traverse Brazil to uncover the best kombis to sell abroad.
There are always critics on the quality of Brazilian kombis, but they forget to mention that at the time, Volkswagen applied the same quality control procedures to their Kombis in Brazil as those in applied in Germany.
The T1 Split bubble in Europe and the USA probably explains these criticisms, as the same speculators saw the arrival of Brazilian kombis with a prejudicial eye.
It is interesting to highlight that Brazil experiences high levels of humidity, but other Brazilain vehicles worldwide going through restoration need

Transparency!
We always strive to work with the greatest level of transparency and it is important to understand that Brazilian owners of T1 or T2 vw bus know what they have in their hands. Therefore, we must be very vigilant regarding the state of the vehicle that are offered.
We generally distinguish between three categories of vehicles:
The first, we have named as economical vehicles that are sold as is, without disguising any of the defects and that need restoration work done on the body, the brakes, the steering etc.. these kombis are usually sold as a starting base for restoration and sell for around 10K Euros, delivered to your door. Some models can surpass this price due to their rarity.
The second category refers to reformed vehicles in good condition (new paint, redone upholstery, safari glass, etc.). However, this type has not gone through a extensive restoration procedure. These kombis are generally offered between 20K and 25K Euros on our site. These are reformed vw bus that do not demonstrate the same level of quality as a restoration project that purists and collectors are looking for. However, anyone can be quite satisfied. These kombis are often sold by importers in Europe/USA/Australia for around 30 to 35k Euros once they have gone through technical examinations and have been registered.
The third category contains totally restored vehicles up to standards by professionals. This type of restoration demands the most work and attention to detail, the vehicles are totally stripped to the bone, each piece is inspected, substituted and repaired. Moreover, the mechanics are redone, welding joints are verified etc.
The restorations that we supervise are the object of a complete photo album. In turn, the price reflects these details and these modes sell from between 30 to 40k Euros for a totally restored vehicle. This is advantageous, since the client will receive a tailor made product to their tastes, that can be from the stain on the under-body to the pattern on the interior upholstery. Once the car is registered and on the road, the value of the car can increase substantially as the years go by.
On our site we offer budget ranges under the title of each vehicle. Click on a category to see the vehicles of the same price.
