Stage 1: Arrival
Arrival of the vehicle at the workshop in its original condition before the complete restoration begins
Stage 2: Stripping and Bodywork
After gutting the Bus, it’s on to getting rid of the thick paint layer, that more often then not covers a rather thick layer of bondo or plaster based filler that other reformers used to pretty up the bus.
Stage 3: Paintwork
The vehicle had been completely painted, both outside and inside, as well as the floor.
Stage 4: Mechanics
The entire mechanical and electrical systems of the vehicle have been completely rebuilt from scratch. A 1600cc engine was installed to provide better drivability and performance, replacing the original 1200cc version. In addition, the braking system was upgraded using components from the VW T2, ensuring greater safety on the road. Everything has already been installed, thoroughly tested, and is fully ready for use. The photos below serve as illustrations of the high-quality standards applied throughout the project.

Stage 5:
Internal and external details.Below are the photos of the vehicle with the full upholstery installed, made of leather in deluxe pattern, featuring the installed sunroof and external details such as the original mechanical semaphore indicators, the vehicle’s original ribbed bumpers, and other finishing touches.
