After crafting sheet metal, welding the structure and molding the side panels, we shift the bus over to the paint prep department. First we sand the metal and apply two coats of prime to smooth out any small irregularities and ensure the paint has an adequate surface to stick to.
Following a drying period, we apply roughly 5 to 6 layers of paint and five layers of varnish to seal and protect. All of these phases are succeeded with a rough scuffing before the next phase commences. Once all layers are applied and have dried, the bus gets cut and buffed to leave a spectacularly smooth finish.
