Take a look at this great T2 reformation project, this project was thoroughly prepared in our workshop for a client in France. Below is a list of details that were done on this project.

Stage 1: Arrival
The first part of every project if choosing a suitable base to work with that will require the lowest amount of work for the highest quality result. Check out the pics of this base below.
Stage 2: Metalwork
After stripping all the old material off the bus we start repairing the structure of the bus so that is is in excellent shape. We change out any rusted metal and restore or replace any banged up metal parts depending on their availability on the market. Usually T2 models are in better shape, but we still change all the ties, stringers and floors.
Stage 3: Motor and Mechanic
In the case of this T2 project all the mechanics are new. Here is a short list of all the new parts and tasks that are undertaken during this project.
- Complete new braking system
- New suspension and steering box
- Restored Motor and transmission
- New clutch and new fluids
- All new lines and cables
- Complete new electrical

Here is the great custom interior that we installed in this T2 bus with a sink. USB charged faucet. Fridge, table, curtains, camper bend and ample storage space. To power this we installed a new inverter and a second battery.
Stage 5: Finished Exterior
Here is the final restored bus ready to be delivered to our clients door. Custom build exactly as the client has ordered.
Stage 6: Export
Here are some pictures of the T2 bus on export day. We delivered this project to the port with another project to send them together in a 40′ CNT in order to save on shipping costs.
Stage 7: Arrival in France
After the bus arrived in Antwerp, our client decided to get a temporary license and inaugurate the bus on its first road trip. After a 1200 km trip it finally arrived at home safe and sound.
