Stage 1: Arrival at the Shop
This bus is bound for the Swiss Alps. But before any trips, it needs some work.
Stage 2: Stripping
Before any real work begins on this bus, the old paint and residue is removed by sanding and sandblasting.
Stage 3: Undercarriage
All the old floors are ripped out and replaced with new ones. The old cross-members are also replaced with all new parts.
Stage 4: Side Panels (Video)
After we had removed the old paint, we noticed that the side was in pretty rough condition. We decided to take the side and window posts from another bus and install it instead.
Stage 5: Motor Compartment
This section of is usually completely rebuilt because it is in such a bad condition.
