Recently, we had the pleasure of preparing and exporting two very special Brazilian classics to Oslo, Norway: a Volkswagen T1 – REF C929 and a Volkswagen Brasília – REF BR014.

Although the vehicles belong to different projects and customers, both shared the same destination and embarked on their journey to Norway through CombiKombi.

1. Two Classics, Two Stories, One Destination

The VW T1 REF C929 and the Volkswagen Brasília REF BR014 are two very different examples of Brazilian automotive history.

The T1, known in Brazil as the Kombi Corujinha, is an internationally recognized classic and one of the most iconic Volkswagen models ever produced.

The Brasília, on the other hand, is a genuine Brazilian classic. Developed specifically for the Brazilian market, it has become increasingly sought-after by enthusiasts looking for unique vehicles with a strong connection to Brazilian automotive culture.

Both vehicles were carefully prepared for export by our team and are now making their way to Oslo, Norway, where each will begin a new chapter with its respective owner.

2. Volkswagen T1 – REF C929

The first vehicle in this export is the Volkswagen T1 REF C929.

With its unmistakable split-window design and classic Volkswagen styling, the T1 remains one of the most desirable Brazilian classics among enthusiasts around the world.

Before shipping, the vehicle went through the necessary preparation and final checks at our workshop to ensure it was ready for its international journey.

3. Volkswagen Brasília – REF BR014

The second vehicle making its way to Oslo is the Volkswagen Brasília REF BR014.

The Brasília occupies a special place in Brazilian automotive history. Designed and produced in Brazil, it became one of the country’s most recognizable Volkswagen models and today represents an increasingly interesting option for collectors looking for something different.

The BR014 was also carefully prepared for international export before beginning its journey to Norway.

4. From Brazil to Oslo: The Export Process

Once both vehicles were ready, our team coordinated the final stages of their export from Brazil.

The vehicles were prepared for container transportation and the container loading (estufagem) was personally supervised by our team, ensuring that both classics were properly positioned and secured for their journey.

We also documented the loading process with photos and videos, allowing the owners to follow this important stage even from thousands of kilometers away.

After the loading was completed, the container was transported to the port and began its journey towards Oslo, Norway.

At CombiKombi, our work doesn’t end when the vehicle leaves our workshop. We coordinate the different stages of the export process, from preparation and documentation to container loading and international shipping, always aiming to make the journey as smooth and secure as possible.
