Chamonix 356 Speedster

The 356 Speedster appeared in September 1954 as a proposal for a captivating sports car that could be used both on the streets and in weekend competitions. With a lower windshield, shell-style seats and fitted curtains in place of the side windows, the model stood out for its seductive lines and its surprising performance results from a light and agile set.

Considered among the best recreations in the world, the Chamonix Speedster 356 A is manufactured with the best in the technical field, allowing the driver to relive all the emotions of the past without sacrificing safety and other modern conveniences.

Chamonix Spyder 550

Born over seven decades ago, the 550 Spyder acronym remains synonymous to speed, freedom and rebelliousness – the latter adjective thanks to the American star James Dean. With an enviable record on the competition tracks, the model weighed only 550 kg in a recipe that combined a central engine, tubular chassis and an extremely light body. Not by chance, the same formula is used in the construction of the recreation signed by Chamonix.

Manufactured in Brazil for more than 30 years and exported to several countries, the Chamonix 550 Spyder was chosen by the German magazine Auto Motor and Sport as the best recreation of the sports classic, in a test commanded by none other than the former world champion of F-1 Phil Hill. The model received several accolades for its construction and dynamic behavior. In addition, we passed in the rigorous chassis torsion tests carried out by T.Ü.V of Germany, which is considered to be capable of receiving engines of up to 250 hp.

For all these reasons, it is no exaggeration to say that the Chamonix 550 Spyder preserves the same voracious appetite for speed as the model it was inspired by.

Chamonix 356 C Coupe

The Chamonix 356 C Coupe represents the most evolved version of the 356 lineage, which, in turn, initiated the distinct visual identity that still characterizes Stuttgart's sports cars today. An icon of sportiness, elegance, and sophistication.

Manufactured to the highest level of quality, the recreation surprises with its exquisite interior finish, richness of external details, and excellent drivability, the result of a sturdy tubular chassis of proprietary construction mounted under a body molded in fiberglass-reinforced plastic.

In addition to a varied range of colors, the customer can choose between two engine options and an extensive list of accessories that cater to the most diverse projects, whether they are original or customized specimens.

Chamonix Cars History

The trajectory of Chamonix has its roots in the 1960s in the figure of Milton Masteguin, one of the founders of the legendary Puma Indústria de Veículos, which over almost three decades made history as the main manufacturer of coachbuilts sport models in Brazil, with a strong presence in the universe of race cars and a legion of fans in the national and international market.

With the same passion and relentless pursuit of perfection, Milton and his son Newton Masteguin created Chamonix Indústria e Comércio in 1987. The mission: to give life to the most beautiful models within the Tribute Cars concept, recreating designs that have marked generations and that still remain as objects of desire among enthusiasts and collectors around the world. Installed in its own area of 50,000 m² and 2,700 m² of construction, Chamonix achieved not only the respect of the public and the specialized press with vehicles produced according to the highest quality standards, but also accumulated in all these years respectable numbers for a practically handmade production company.

In almost four decades of activities, more than 2,500 units were built, a good part of which was exported to more than 23 different countries, including demanding markets such as the USA, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Japan. More than fun, our cars are also excellent from an investment point of view, with high resale value in the used market. That, and the loyalty of many of our customers, is for us the main feedback that we are on the right track.
